There are several reasons why it may be necessary to archive or delete an employee's profile:
- By archiving or deleting an employee's profile once it is no longer needed, the organization reduces the amount of data that needs to be protected, thus minimizing the potential impact of a security breach.
- Archiving or deleting an employee's profile respects their privacy rights. Once an employee leaves the organization or is no longer associated with a particular project or role, retaining their profile indefinitely may be unnecessary and infringe upon their privacy.
- Archiving or deleting profiles of former employees streamlines the process, making it easier to manage and access the information of current employees.
- By archiving or deleting profiles of inactive or former employees, organizations can optimize their resources and reduce unnecessary expenses.
Note: You have to archive first and then delete an employee's profile.
To archive an employee's profile, navigate to Dashboard > ERP > Human Resources > Search by keywords or Filter by Role > View Profile > Archive
To archive an employee's profile means that you have disabled the login for that specific employee; however, their data will be visible on the dashboard.
After the profile is archived, there will be the option to delete the profile of the employee or unarchive the profile.
